  Ultimate Allowance Book

The Jumpstart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy:  Dedicated to establishing the personal financial literacy of our youth this site provides a wealth of resources including literacy standards for K-12, a clearinghouse of valuable literacy publications, and information on legislation and state coalitions.  

EconEdLink:  A premier source of classroom tested, Internet-based economic lesson materials for K-12 teachers and their students.

The Mint:  This site provides tools to help parents as well as educators teach children to manage money wisely and develop good financial habits.

Sense and Dollars:  Designed for kids in middle and high school, this site gives these kids opportunities to practice saving, spending, earning, and investing money.  A great resource for parents and teachers, too.

Kids and Money:  This site provides information on the highly acclaimed book by Jayne Pearl, Kids and Money: Giving Them the Savvy to Succeed Financially

Institute for Consumer Financial Education:  This is a consumer-oriented, non-profit public educational organization focused on improving the spending and saving habits of our citizens.  The site provides a variety of educational resources and articles to help consumers understand debt, credit, spending, saving, financial planning, etc.

Kids Turn Central:  This site is devoted to providing kids a safe place to talk, share, and learn. Kids can have fun learning about topics of interest to them and parents can relax knowing that their children are in a safe on-line environment.

It's a Habit:  "Changing children's lives one dime at a time," this site offers books, music CDs, and author/character appearances all focused on teaching children and their families good savings habits.

Creative Wealth International:  A site dedicated to promoting financial literacy through curriculum tools and workshops for kids and adults.

Inspired Parenting:  Inspired Parenting provides inspiration and mind-body approaches for parenting the whole child, which includes support for children's physical health, emotions, mental development, and spirit.

Cash Management Connection:  Offers KIDSCA$H and MYCA$H basic money management workbooks for everyone: kids, teens, college students, adults and couples (and Spanish versions, too!), as well as classroom curricula on basic money management for both kids and adult learners.

Monetta Young Investor Fund:  Monetta Young Investor Fund is a no-load mutual fund targeted at children and teenagers to help them develop basic financial skills.  This comprehensive investing program includes a kid-themed fund, investment kit, free college tuition credit, investment newsletter and various online games and activities where kids can participate to win prizes.  An excellent college investment plan.

The Dollar Stretcher:  "Living Better for Less"  A great resource for articles on a variety of issues relating to money.

WIFE.org:  The Women’s Institute for Financial Education (WIFE.org) is the oldest non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial education to women in their quest for financial independence.
